Using CMD to Hack Lan Network | Ethical Hacking

First, open your Network Connection and right click and select Properties. Then Select TCP/IP and click on Properties again. Now Click on Advanced and WINS tab. Select Default for NeBIOS.
Now back to the main Local Area Connection window, select File and Print Sharing for Mic*ft Networks and hit enter.

This is just to make sure you have NetBIOS enabled. We will have some fun with NetBIOS on CMD.
First thing you need to know is some very helpfull commands to use on CMD(Command Prompt).
In case you don’t know how to get CMD open in your box, then click on Start, then Run, then type “cmd” (no quotes, off course… you know the drill).
Back to commands:

nslookup
net view
net use
net user
ping
tracert
arp
route
nbtstat
netstat
ipconfig
In case you don’t know some of them, then just type the command on CMD and hit enter. A little help will show up in your screen. Read it and understand what the command does.
Lets start easy…
1) ping : This command will allow you to know if the host you pinging is alive, which means if it is up at the time of executing the “ping” command.
CODE
ping x.x.x.x (x is the IP address)
or
ping www.whatever.com (www.whatever.com is the website you want to ping, but you don’t know the IP)
OBS: Keep in mind that if the host you pinging is blocking ICMP packets, then the result will be host down.
2) nslookup : This command has many functionalities.
One is for resolving DNS into IP.
Lets say you know the website URL but you don’t know its IP(and you want to find out).
nslookup www.whatever.com (www.whatever.com is the website you want to find out the IP)
Now, another really nice function of nslookup is to find out IP of specific Mail Severs.
QUOTE
nslookup (enter)
set type=mx (enter)
yahoo.com
This command will give you the mail server IP of yahoo.com. You can use whatever server you want and if it is listed on DNS, then you get the IP. Simple, isn’t it?
OK, now why would you want to have an IP of a mail server?
To send spoofed mail to your friends or even for SE.

3) tracert : This command will give you the hops that a packet will travel to reach its final destination.
OBS: This command is good to know the route a packet takes before it goes to the target box.

or
tracert www.whatever.com (www.whatever.com is the website you don’t know the IP)
4) arp : This command will show you the arp table. This is good to know if someone is doing arp poisoning in your LAN.

5) route : This command will show you the routing table, gateway, interface and metric.

6) ipconfig : This command will show tons of very helpful things.
Your IP, gateway, dns in use.

or

ipconfig /all
this command will give all that info but for all networks you might have it.
Also, in case you have a dynamic IP and want to change it, then type…

ipconfig /release (this will release your IP)
ipconfig /renew (this will renew your iP)
OBS: Keep in mind that those commands will change your IP, but the new IP will still be tighed up to you. So don’t do anything stupid.
7) netstat : This command will show you connection to your box.

netstat
or

netstat -a (this will show you all the listening ports and connection with DNS names)
netstat -n (this will show you all the open connection with IP addresses)
netstat -an (this will combined both of the above)
8)nbtstat : This command will show you the netbios name of the target box.

nbtstat -A x.x.x.x (x is the IP address)
nbtstat -a computername
net view x.x.x.x or computername (will list the available sharing folders on the target box)
Now some hints:

net use \ipaddressipc$ “” /user:administrator
(this command will allow you to connect to the target box as administrator)
Now if you want to connect to the target box and browse the entire C drive, then use this command:

net use K: \computernameC$
(this will create a virtual drive on your “my computer” folder)
OBS: Keep in mind that this will only works if the target box doesn’t have an administrator password set.
And least but not last, the “help” command.

This command will help you to understand what it does and all the switchs available for each command.
Very useful if you know the command, but forgot the right switch.

BackDoor Trojan : Theef The Best Hacking Tools | Ethical Hacking

Theef is a Windows based application for both the client and server end. The Theef server is a virus that you install on your victims computer, and the Theef client in what you then use to control the virus. The biggest problem with using Theef is that most Anti-Virus programs will pick it up. But with a little bit of social engineering you can generally get people to turn off their AV for you.


Theef is definitely among the best hacking tools I have ever used. It is easy to use and intuitive, but best of all it gives you a great deal of options. This is why you will be learning to use it today.

Before we begin you need to get a copy of Theef. I have uploaded a copy to Rapid Share here: http://rapidshare.com/files/310301581/theef.zip

So lets begin. First of all you need a target. This should be relatively easy to find, as I would imagine that the large portion of you reading this article already have someone in mind that you want to hack. If not, feel free to grab a second computer just so you can try this stuff out. For the purpose of this tutorial our victim is named Bob. And we are going to pretend that we are giving him an installer for a game called Awesome Game.

Now you need to convince your victim to turn off their Anti-Virus if they have any. This is because Anti-Virus programs will generally pick up Theef as a virus and delete it. Convincing someone to turn off their Anti-Virus is not often a difficult task, most of the time you can just tell them something along the lines of, &quote;Your Anti-Virus says Awesome Game is a virus, but it isn’t so don’t worry about it.&quote; People are gullible, they want to believe you will cause them no harm, they want to trust you. Use this to your advantage.
The next thing we have to do is configure the program. This is an easy task to do. And to make it easier I will walk you through it using screen shots to help showcase the items you might want to change.

First make a copy of the Theef server. The Theef server is named Server210.exe. Name your copy of the server awesomegame.exe.

Now that we have a copy to work on we need to open up the editor. The server editor is named Editserver210.exe. Once it is opened you should be presented with a window that looks like this:

From here we need to open up our server for editing using the Load button. Once the server is loaded some values our to be filled into the boxes. The values on the first page can be left alone. In the forums I will be putting up a detailed list of what every option does, but for this tutorial we will only focus on what is needed to give Bob a virus.

To make it look plausible that Awesome Game is indeed a game and not a virus we need to setup a false error message. To do this click Setup->False Error. On this screen check the box to enable false errors, then fill in the Input box labeled text with the following “The installer failed to run!” Your screen should look like this.

Now the server is ready to be saved and sent. Click the Save button to save the server configuration. The status bar should now say “Finished writing new server settings.” You may now close out of the server editor.
The next step is generally the hardest. You need to send the virus (in our case awesomegame.exe) to your victim and get them to run it. Now for the purposes of our tutorial we have decided to send Bob a “game” by the name of Awesome Game. Little does Bob know that Awesome Game is not a game, but our virus. We have sent Bob Awesome Game using Windows Live Messenger. If your victim is running Vista (like Bob is) then you will need to have them run the virus using Admin privileges.

Now that you have given them the virus the real fun can begin. From here we do everything in the Theef Client. This is the program that you use to control the virus. It is named Client210.exe. You should open it at this point.

You will need to get your victims IP address at this point so that you can connect to their computer. This is an easy task to do, and there are numerous ways to accomplish it. For our example we have convinced Bob to go to http://privax.us/ip-test/ and read his IP Address off to us from that page. We could also have gotten him to run ip-config or done any number of other things. If you have no idea what an IP Address is, just direct them to Privax’s IP Test and get them to send you their IP address off the page.
Using one of the aforementioned methods I have determined that Bob’s IP Address is 127.0.0.1 (please note your victim’s IP Address will differ from the address I have used in this example).
I now enter that into the IP input box on the Theef client and press Connect. If you have the correct address and they have run the virus you should see something similar to the following show up in the log box:

If you don’t have their IP Address correct or they have not run the virus you will see this instead:

Now that we are connected we can start to take do stuff. There are numerous features in Theef so I will only cover a small number of them here. I will likely cover more in the forums as time goes on. Also note that not all features of Theef work, and fewer features will work in Vista than in XP.
One of the most useful features of Theef is the key-logger, which is available under the Spy menu. Upon selecting it a key-logger window will open up as shown.

After you click the Start button on this window you will begin to see everything that they type on their computer. This is very useful as it shows you ever password they enter. It is a one stop shop to getting their passwords to everything and things such as their bank account numbers, etc.
There are other features in Theef that can be used for just screwing with people as well. Underneath of the Control Menu there is a button labeled Power. If you click that you will notice an Open/Close CD-ROM Drive button. Most people freak out if their CD-ROM Drive randomly opens and closes without them doing anything.
So this concludes my brief tutorial on how to use Theef. There is a lot more in this program that I covered here, but this should give you the basics on how to get started. Below I have posted two videos showing many more things that Theef can do. If you play these videos at the same time you can see how the client controls the server.

What is SuperScan?
SuperScan is a powerful connect-based TCP port scanner, pinger and hostname resolver. Released by Foundstone, its multithreaded and asynchronous techniques make this program extremely fast and versatile. SuperScan can do ping sweeps and scan any IP range. 



The attacker can also compile a list of target IP as a text file and use SuperScan to extract this list for scanning. The visual interface allows the attacker to view responses from connected hosts. The built in editor allows manipulation of port list and port descriptions. The advantage is that certain ports can be skipped as the ping results can be analyzed before hand to make the scan faster. The tool can be used to connect to any discovered open port using user-specified "helper" applications and then assign a custom helper application to any port. The attacker can also choose to save the scan list to a text file for future reference. The scan can be done slowly as well by controlling the transmission speed.


  

On the windows platform, Superscan does a very good job of swiftly looking for open ports. However, it does not give additional information such as if the port is closed, open, or filtered. Nmap is the better scanner for more detailed information, or when the attacker wants to use more advanced scanning techniques - for now SuperScan detects common ports.



  

Readers should note that the term "attacker" is used here, as these are the tools you might see being used over the Internet for unauthorized access. From a penetration tester's viewpoint, these very tools can be used to test the network as well as assist in doing reconnaissance about the attacker. In our example here, we find additional information on TCP ports that were not listed by NetScan Tools - we find a port with pcAnywhere data connection. This is good news to an attacker as he has to just get one point of access into the target system. Let us look at the data we have obtained here.

Notice how the scanner returns additional information about the services running on the ports. Here, we see some banner grabbing done for the HTTP server, SMTP server, IMAP server and the POP3 server.
